CRM Online login error: Live login keeps looping or refreshing
Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 10:16AM A client recently began having trouble signing in to their CRM online instance. When they used the Windows Live sign in screen the page would attempt to load the CRM instance but then appear to refresh and then go back to the login screen. Other times the page would appear to be in an endless loop and going no where fast.
Obviously, this was frustrating. Kenny Vaes posted a good article on his blog on how to resolve this. I am surprised that there is not more out there on this issue and appreciate Kenny posting a solution. Essentially the use needs to add several more urls to the trusted sites area of internet explorer. These sites are in addition to adding you actual CRM instance url to the trusted sites. Here are the steps:
In Internet Explorer Select "Tools"
Select "Internet Options"
Select the tab "Security"
Click the green check mark "Trusted Sites"
Click "Sites"
Add these urls to the trusted sites: https://*.crm.dynamics.com https://login.live.com
After entry of these urls close your browser and reopen.

Keep in mind that for Europe or Asia the CRM domain is different:
https://*.crm4.dynamics.com - Europe
https://*.crm5.dynamics.com - Asia
So do this to cover all of them:
https://*.dynamics.com
